Lose weight and keep it offLosing weight isn't about "dieting". Dieting doesn't work. Diet is - simply - the foods we eat. Losing weight isn't about feeling guilty or denying oneself. Losing weight is about eating a balanced diet that you enjoy and not feeling guilty about occasional treats. One of the reasons many people have difficulty losing weight is because they don't know what to eat to make them slim. They think that it's a matter of cutting down on their existing dietary habits, which often requires a complete overhaul.
Furthermore, your brain doesn't know how much fat you have stored up in your body and when it's threatened with starvation - instead of using up the excess fat - and if you're not exercising - will reduce muscle tissue instead!
We all know that in order to lose weight we must reduce our calorie intake, so how do we do that without triggering the hunger mechanisms in the brain? The key is eating for health rather than eating to lose weight. Eating a balanced diet doesn't mean deprivation, because when your body has all the nutrients it requires, it doesn't 'demand' more food. However, when we eat ready-made fast foods, crisps, chocolate, alcohol, fizzy drinks and cakes, etc., because the body isn't getting enough 'nutrition' from these types of foods, it 'asks' for more food in order to compensate. All these extra 'empty' calories merely provide extra body fat. Also bear in mind that a 'thirsty signal' can often be mistaken for a 'hunger signal'. When the body is dehydrated, it just sends out a 'craving message' - so before you reach for food, take a good long drink of clear, refreshing water instead - no calories in that! It goes without saying that in order to achieve a slim, healthy body, getting started with some form of exercise is essential. Do I hear you groaning? Yes, it's difficult to find the motivation to get started but the rewards will be so well worth it. Besides, once you do get started and make exercising a regular event, you will have set up a new and beneficial neural pathway (habit) in the brain. Eat for health, exercise more and accompany this with hypnosis audio recordings and you'll be happily on the road to success.
