    Achieve and attract prosperity

Did you know that according to the Wallstreet Journal...

Many, many people subconsciously associate money with greed and negative thoughts. The phrase, "the love of money is the root of evil" is misquoted to, somehow, assure them that money itself is the evil! Without even realising it you could be sabotaging your abundance and financial prosperity.

Interesting this, because it was actually George Bernard Shaw who said,
"Lack of money is the root of all evil." Somewhere along the line, it transformed into "the love of..."

Affirmations can really help to shift the internal negative chatter we have created around our own prosperity.

More than ever before, this time in history has the opportunity for creating wealth.

Yet with this opportunity comes greater challenges for us on the mental and emotional level to achieve what we once would only have dared to dream of. We may have been brought up with a whole series of beliefs around money that challenge our ability to succeed even if we do have the perfect plan in place.

Hypnosis can help you create a blue print within your subconscious to develop the attitudes of successful people.

This is where working on the subconscious level will benefit you greatly if you've experienced struggle of any kind in reaching your goals and achieving your potential.

You see, your subconscious mind stores all kinds of information about your past experiences, which it does for very specific reasons.

Your subconscious has the job of keeping you safe; for example, as a child did you ever touch something hot and recoiled with the pain? Your brain immediately recorded this experience to remind you not to repeat it in the future.

It isn't necessary however for that information to be stored in the part of your brain that's responsible for short-term memory and so it resides within the subconscious ready to prevent you from doing it (or any other negative response experience) again.

This may develop as a fear of failure or even (more bizarrely to some people) a fear of success.

Likewise the subconscious will store repetitive programming - "No, you can't do that" - or a time when you may have felt embarrassment that dented your self-esteem, perhaps for speaking out. These experiences can all have an the effect of preventing you from achieving your true potential.

And when, later on in life we set out to achieve something great and the subconscious recognises a similar situation for potential danger or harm, it operates that protective process on an unconscious level. This is why we self-sabotage. It can lead to us developing habits such as procrastination and/or low self-motivation. But the good news is, it can all be changed!

Do you know the plight of the "average" U.S. citizen at age 65? 36 percent have passed away, 54 percent are broke or dependent on others, 5 percent are still working, 4 percent are financially independent, and 1 percent are considered wealthy. Which will you be?

Then there are all those sayings about money we heard from our (well-intentioned) elders that just become a part of our belief structure.

Just for fun, let's take a look at some of those sayings we have around money and see if you can add to them - you'll be amazed at what is lurking in that subconscious of yours! Grab a pen and piece of paper and add to the list below:
    • Saving [money] for a rainy day
    • Money doesn't grow on trees
    • Money doesn't make you happy
    • A penny saved is a penny earned
    • Do you think I'm made of money?

Realise then, that these seemingly innocent sayings are belief systems that could be affecting your energy around attracting prosperity.
