    Hypnosis is not wishful thinking or hocus-pocus. It's not magic - it just works like it. The power of the mind is very, very real. (Read about the power of thought).     Simply put, hypnosis is like being awake while sleeping.
    When you're asleep, you may recall having the experience of watching yourself in a dream - in your "mind's eye" you are looking at you. In hypnosis you're not asleep, you're in a very relaxed, dream-like state where you're completely aware of yourself and your mind focuses inward.

    The human mind is a lot like an iceberg.
    The conscious mind is just the tip of the iceberg. The subconscious mind is the massive bulk that lies beneath the surface. Your subconscious is the driving force of your mind, it does not distinguish real from imagined... and it controls every decision made by the conscious mind. Therefore it's easy for you to give it new instruction upon which is must act.

    In 1954, Roger Bannister was the first runner to break the four minute mile. Before Bannister's record breaking run, common belief had been that 4 minutes was the limitation of human capacity. One year after Bannister shattered this psychological barrier, 300 runners had also broken the four minute mile. What you believe truly affects what you achieve.


    You know what you want. You know where you want to be.

    But unless you know how to reprogram your subconscious mind to dump the excess baggage that's weighing you down, getting there is like trying to travel the Thames in a leaky boat. Hypnosis is a method by which you can change those beliefs quickly and effectively - once dealt with they'll never return!
